Caitlin Clark drives betting surge

Caitlin Clark's inaugural season in the WNBA with the Indiana Fever has ignited betting on Hard Rock Bet. The newly launched Colorado sports betting app has reported that the games in which she has played experienced a 40% increase in the league average in handle and stirred 29% greater betting activity over the period, as reported by the sportsbook.

Clark's addition to the league has been a frequent center of popular bet themes in single games and futures bets. She has been a regular feature in the WNBA MVP odds and the scoring title conversations, hence the spike in volume in the longer-range wagering categories. Unfortunately for the Fever superstar and her backers, injuries are beginning to pile up and interfere with her quests.

These statistics initially indicate not just passion from the customary fanbase but the shift in the betters' economy brought on by Clark's actions.

Her popularity has even extended to other bets beyond the money lines and point spreads, such as player props, game totals, and awards bets, where bookmakers offer wagers strictly related to her performance. Clark's scoring ability, range on her three-pointers, and national exposure have attracted more interest from bettors and even non-betting basketball fans.
