With the 2025 MLB regular season underway, the Los Angeles Dodgers headline our look at the MLB win totals odds and season-long Over/Under betting lines despite cooling off following an 8-0 start to the campaign.

The World Series odds favorites had the highest win total ahead of the season, and it remains that way despite the Dodgers sitting third in their own division.

There are some interesting records across the standings thus far, leading to changes in the win totals at our best MLB betting sites.

Let's dive into the MLB odds and see which teams are projected for a big regular season.

🔢 2025 MLB win total betting odds

All of our best sports betting sites offered this market ahead of the campaign, though the availability of it could become more limited as the season progresses.

It's important to note the differences between how certain sportsbooks list their win totals odds.

Some choose to juice the Over and Under to different degrees, depending on which side is deemed to be the favorite. However, multiple sportsbooks offer both sides at -110 for the majority of teams, which makes pricing out your preferred side much easier.

Some sportsbooks list flat totals, which can result in a push if the team finishes with the exact number of wins listed.

These nuances will help bettors find edges in one of the most popular MLB futures markets.

🧑‍🏫 American League win total betting odds analysis

We've organized the teams based on how they finished in 2024.

The story in the AL East thus far is the New York Yankees and their torpedo bats, and they lead the division. The Toronto Blue Jays are off to a strong start, and the Tampa Bay Rays follow closely behind. As a result, both teams are trading at totals above 80 now.

Despite their poor start, the Boston Red Sox are still trading at 85.5, while the Yankees have jumped back into the 90s.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Tigers are surging in the Central. After a 2-4 start to the year, they've won eight of their last 10.

The West is much more tight than you might expect, but it's the Houston Astros who are struggling. That isn't a massive surprise after the Astros dealt away perennial MLB MVP odds contender Kyle Tucker and lost Alex Bregman, especially since they won only 88 games last year with those two.

🧑‍🏫 National League win total betting odds analysis

The NL East has been ... strange, to say the least. The Philadelphia Phillies got off to a red-hot start but have won only four of their last 10 since. Meanwhile, the lowly Miami Marlins are 8-7 while the juggernaut Atlanta Braves are 5-11 and are down their leadoff hitter, Jurickson Profar, who was suspended for 80 games. As a result, the Braves' win total is now set at 89.5 games.

The Central features a surprise, too, with the St. Louis Cardinals actually playing solid baseball. It's the Chicago Cubs, though, who are seen as easily the best team in the division based on their win total. And they've rebounded nicely following a slow start to the season.

Finally, we come to the West, which features the only team projected to win 100-plus games. Yes, it is entirely possible (and likely) that the Dodgers will be even better during the regular season this year. Their rotation is truly something to marvel at with the additions of Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki and the expected return of Shohei Ohtani.

However, a lot of bettors thought the Dodgers' number was just too high when it was 103.5, and now it's all the way up to 108.5 with them yet to lose. Should we bet the Under or simply just sit back and enjoy greatness?

❓ How to bet MLB season Over/Under win totals

There’s nothing complicated about MLB team win totals markets. You’re betting on whether or not a team will win more (Over) or fewer (Under) games than a projected total.

To find these markets, go to your favorite sportsbook, head to the baseball or MLB section, and look for "futures." There, you'll find a variety of options, including win totals.

Our sites with the best sportsbook promos set the total based on each team’s roster, offseason transactions, past results, and the strength of their schedule.

MLB team win totals are futures bets. They can be placed up to each team's first game of the season and are graded at the conclusion of the regular season.

However, odds can be posted throughout the year across a number of our best sportsbooks. Those numbers often differ from the opening totals and associated odds, which can lead to potential value plays on teams that get out to a surprising start in either direction.
