St. Louis entered this series against Boston ranked in the top four of the league in runs per game, batting average, slugging percentage, OPS, and home runs.

Nootbaar was a big beneficiary of the hot hitting behind him, scoring a team-high nine runs entering today - no other Cardinals player had more than six runs. 

With this being Hunter Dobbins’ MLB debut, I expect Nootbaar to find his way on base often, and to improve upon his .514 on-base percentage.
