WrestleMania 41 Predictions, Picks & WWE Odds: Cena vs. Rhodes Headlines Weekend in Las Vegas

WrestleMania has earned its decades-long reputation as "the grandest stage of them all" but this weekend's edition might also rank as the angriest of all-time. Our WrestleMania 41 predictions and expert picks offer insights as WrestleMania 41 begins tonight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Between John Cena's weekly vitriol-soaked eviscerations of the WWE universe, Gunther bloodying Jay Uso's twin brother Jimmy in a vicious attack, and Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair going way, way off-script (and not in a good way), the build-up to WrestleMania 41 has leaned a lot more on general rage than most iterations of wrestling's biggest annual spectacle.
WrestleMania 41 will take place Saturday and Sunday in Sin City (with 7 p.m. ET start times both nights). Viewers - and bettors - can watch WWE's showcase event live on Netflix.

💰 WrestleMania 41 expert picks
🏆 Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (-200) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We've seen modest odds movement here, with Cena dropping from a -300 open down to his current -200 slot. That just means the Doctor of Thuganomics represents even better value in what should be a victory over current champion Cody Rhodes, and the start of an historic 17th championship run.
Cena's shocked heel turn at WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto in February signified a seismic shift in how the final stretch of his in-ring career will go – and both casual and die-hard fans are eating it up. Cena's promos were already must-see TV; now, they're true appointment viewing. WWE would be wise to capitalize on the white-hot heat he's facing by having him rip the title away from the company-appointed golden boy in Rhodes.
Cena doesn't need the a WrestleMania win to validate the company's decision to turn him to the dark side – but it'll make the summer months a lot more fun. I'm all in on a title change here.
🏆 WWE Women's Championship: Charlotte Flair (-130) ⭐⭐⭐
Flair and defending champion Stratton are now level in the WrestleMania 41 odds, which is intriguing for a number of reasons.
For one, it speaks to sportsbooks' faith in the possibility that WWE is going all-in on Stratton, who might have felt more like a transitional champion after cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase to wrest the title from friend-turned-adversary Nia Jax on the Jan. 3 edition of SmackDown. Stratton was only ever a slight underdog from the moment the odds were posted, but having her as a -130 co-favorite says volumes about how her title run – and immediate future – is now perceived.
It's also a scathing indictment of Flair, who was gifted the Women's Royal Rumble win in her return from a long injury layoff in January but has since attracted immense genuine heat from fans who absolutely do not want to see her win this match. I still think she will, but I'm not quite as certain about this outcome as others on the card.
🏆 Triple Threat: CM Punk (-200) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The WWE's version of Paper-Rock-Scissors, Triple Threat matches rarely generate the same level of buzz as singles or true tag team matches. But given the rich and hate-filled history that exists between Punk, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, there really couldn't have been any other option for WrestleMania 41.
With so much to track here (Seth and Reigns' post-Shield feud, Seth's intense hatred of Punk, Reigns and Punk matching heartfelt overtures for manager Paul Heyman's services), this one might seem difficult to handicap. But the sports betting sites are leaning more heavily toward Punk than at any time in the odds process, and I agree: a deft cash-in of a long-owed favor that will see Heyman abandon Reigns to reunite with Punk for this match is as strategic as it is symbolic, and should work heavily in Punk's favor.
It isn't enough that Punk is main eventing WrestleMania for the first time. He really has to win this match in order to build the momentum needed to vault Punk back into the main title picture. And it sure feels as if that's exactly what WWE has in mind for him.
🏆 Women's World Championship: Iyo Sky (+100) ⭐⭐
I have absolutely no idea what's going to happen here.
What was originally supposed to be a one-on-one title bout between champion Sky and Bianca Belair became a Triple Threat match on an early April edition of RAW on the direction of GM Adam Pearce. It makes a lot of sense in terms of wanting to have Ripley in a meaningful match at the biggest event on the WWE calendar, but it also muddies the betting waters considerably.
My best hunch here has Sky pulling out the victory as Belair and Ripley plant the seeds for a long-term feud that would assuredly sell plenty of tickets over the summer. Sky's stunning win over Ripley on the March 3 episode of RAW has to mean more than just a brief dalliance with the gold and a shiny new plot device ahead of WrestleMania.
🏆 WWE Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (+250) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
For as hesitant as I am to pick aside in the Women's World Championship Triple Threat, I have no such qualms about leaning all the way into Breakker retaining his IC strap in a Fatal 4-Way.
I'm truly baffled at how Breakker is the third favorite to win, behind Dominik Mysterio (-250) and Penta (+150). Penta is over even without a title (and is so new that handing him the IC crown now would be an unnecessarily aggressive promotion), while I would argue that Breakker needs this championship more than Mysterio, who has consistently been one of the company's best heels.
Breakker has played the role of imposing bone-crusher to perfection since snagging the belt, and it would be a real shame to see the momentum he has built completely wiped out by a WrestleMania title loss. I'm hoping that common sense prevails here – and I'm willing to wager that it will.
