The Nuggets fell short of covering the 2.5-point spread in Game 1, beating the Clippers by only two points in overtime. They weathered the early storm after Los Angeles went up 35-27 in the first quarter, potentially setting things up for a more dominant effort in Game 2.

The Game 2 point spread, though, doesn’t see it that way - the Clippers are favored on the road by 1.5 points.

While the Nuggets haven’t been masterful at home ATS, Denver is 27-15 outright in home games, which feels noteworthy considering all we need is a one-point loss or better. We’re not shying away from Jokic having a big Game 2, knowing the way this one will swing the momentum of the series before it returns to Los Angeles. Jokic has cleared this line in three of four games against the Clippers on the season, and he’s done so in five of his last seven games since the start of April.

🔥 Norman Powell Over 1.5 made 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’re staying stubborn with a player props concept that we liked ahead of Game 1, despite things not going our way the first time around. Norman Powell had juicy plus-money odds on Over 2.5 made 3-pointers in a matchup against a Denver team that ranked among the league’s bottom-10 teams in opposing 3-point percentage. In Game 2, his prop sits at only 1.5 made 3-pointers.

Powell took enough deep shots to cash the aggressive prop in Game 1, but lagged in efficiency, only knocking down two of his six attempts. That outcome would still cash for us in tonight's game.
