After an almost impossibly good 28 points in his playoffs debut for Jerome, I feel I’m missing something regarding his points prop for Game 2. It’s sitting at 10.5 points at BetMGM, lower than Jerome’s season average of 12.5 points per game.

It would be one thing if this were a one-off for Jerome, but his hot shooting dates back several weeks. He’s scored 18 or more points in his past five games, so whatever line you’re getting between 10.5 and 11.5 points across our various best NBA betting sites, take the Over.

While we can expect some additional defensive pressure on the perimeter, there are too many talented scorers on this Cavaliers roster to sell out on stopping Jerome.

🔥 Bam Adebayo Over 18.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Adebayo averaged 18.1 points per game during the season and should struggle to score against a Cleveland team that usually limits opposing bigs from getting their buckets. But Adebayo poured in 24 points in Game 1, continuing a trend from the regular season that saw outlier scoring totals from him against the Cavs.

During the regular season, Adebayo had point totals of 34, 21 and 16 against Cleveland, meaning he’s now cleared an 18.5-point total in three of his four matchups against the stout interior defense.

Leading up to the play-in rounds, Adebayo cleared this scoring mark in five of his last six regular-season contests.

🔥 Darius Garland Under 9.5 rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Garland is one of Cleveland’s top-scoring weapons, but he was more of a one-trick pony in his first playoff game. Garland compiled three rebounds and five assists in Game 1.

That’s a lower outcome than his per-game season average of 9.6 on that combination of stats, which is right around where the line sits for Game 2. Garland’s scoring output isn’t a line I’d look to fade for this high-profile Cleveland offense, but I don’t see him stuffing the stat sheet in the other categories.
