The Boston Celtics look to take a 2-0 series lead over the Orlando Magic when the Eastern Conference's No. 2 and No. 7 seeds meet in the NBA playoffs tonight. Our Magic vs. Celtics player props and NBA picks expect Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. to play extended roles for the visitors.

🔥 Paolo Banchero Under 25.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Banchero dropped a game-high 36 points in Game 1, as he did everything he could to keep his Magic competitive. He finished 14-of-27 from the field and 4-of-7 from deep. The performance marked Banchero’s third 30-point game in four tries, as he’s emerged as the Magic’s go-to playmaker over the last two months.

Despite everything Banchero has going for him, his Under is the right play for Wednesday. Before Sunday’s game, Banchero failed to score more than 21 points against the Celtics this season. The Celtics ended the season with the second-best scoring defense, and in a game with a very low expected total, taking this Over is too risky, even after Banchero's recent productive outing.

Some of the major sportsbooks are offering this total at 26.5, but I recommend taking Under 25.5 for a better price since Banchero has been someone who’s either scored over 30 or less than 26 in six consecutive games.

🔥 Wendell Carter Jr. Under 7.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Carter snagged 13 rebounds in Game 1, his best performance on the glass since March 16. Even more impressive about Carter’s performance was that he only played 28 minutes.

However, I’m fading him in Game 2. Before Game 1, Carter had pulled down seven or fewer rebounds in seven of his last eight games. He only topped seven rebounds once in three regular-season games against the Celtics.
