Diego Lopes and Alexander Volkanovski headline a phenomenal UFC 314 card when they go head-to-head for the vacated featherweight title. The main-event title fight is far from the only appealing fight on the card, as shown in the latest UFC 314 odds and betting lines.

Fan-favorite Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett faces his biggest challenge yet against former Bellator champion Michael Chandler, who could be in the last fight of his storied career. Patricio Pitbull, another legendary Bellator fighter, makes his promotional debut against UFC veteran Yair Rodriguez.

Check out our latest UFC picks - including Gabe Henderson's UFC 314 predictions - ahead of the open early prelims. Early prelims begin at 6 p.m. ET (ESPN+), with the main card kicking off at 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+ PPV) from Kaseya Center in Miami.

πŸ‹ UFC 314 weigh-in results

The weigh-ins were officially completed on Friday morning, and after a couple of scares, we will indeed have a full card.

Jean Silva needed a second attempt to make weight, but once that was granted by the commission, he returned within an hour and made weight. A different result for Nora Cornolle, who came in at two pounds over the limit for her bout, and was unable to make weight on her second attempt. However, the fight will proceed as a catchweight with Cornolle giving up 20% of her purse.

Here are the official weights for the main card as of Friday morning:

  • Alexander Volkanovski (145) vs. Diego Lopes (145)
  • Michael Chandler (156) vs. Paddy Pimblett (156)
  • Yair Rodriguez (146) vs. Patricio Pitbull (145)
  • Bryce Mitchell (146) vs. Jean Silva (146)
  • Nikita Krylov (206) vs. Dominick Reyes (206)

πŸ‘€ UFC 314 betting insights

BetMGM has provided us with some unique betting insights in the week leading up to the card.

Unsurprisingly, the main card is dominating the most bet fights of the night. Chandler vs. Pimblett leads the way as the most-bet fight, followed by Volkanovski vs. Lopes, Mitchell vs. Silva, and Kyrlov vs. Reyes. The lone prelim fight to break into the top five is Chase Hooper vs. Jim Miller, coming in at fifth. That bout features the oldest and youngest fighters on the card.

The top five most bet props list is even narrower, featuring only three fights (all from the main card). Pimblett by Decision/Technical Decision (+1000) leads the way, followed by Pimblett by Submission (+200). Lopes by KO/TKO or DQ (+300) clocks in at number three, Mitchell by submission (+650) at fourth, and Chandler by KO/TKO or DQ (+250) rounds out the list.

Looking at the split of percentage of bets, these are the top five:

  • Darren Elkins (88%) over Julian Erosa
  • Jim Miller (78%) over Chase Hooper
  • Bryce Mitchell (78%) over Jean Silva
  • Dan Ige (67%) over Sean Woodson
  • Diego Lopes (66%) over Alexander Volkanovski

  • Nora Cornolle (90%) over Hailey Cowan
  • Marco Tuilo (83%) over Tresean Gore
  • Darren Elkins (82%) over Julian Erosa

πŸ“– How to read UFC betting odds

Understanding UFC betting odds is essential for making informed wagers. Let's break it down with examples:

  • Positive odds (+): Positive odds indicate the potential profit on a $100 wager. For instance, if a fighter has odds of +250, it means that a $100 bet on that fighter would yield a profit of $250 if they win the fight. So, your total payout would be $350 ($250 profit + $100 original stake).
  • Negative odds (-): Negative odds represent the amount you need to wager to win $100 in profit. For example, if a fighter has odds of -150, it means that you would need to bet $150 to win $100 in profit if that fighter wins. Your total payout would be $250 ($100 profit + $150 original stake).

Now, let's consider an actual UFC betting scenario:

  • Fighter A: +200
  • Fighter B: -180

For Fighter A (+200), a $100 bet would result in a $200 profit, making the total payout $300. For Fighter B (-180), you would need to wager $180 to win $100 in profit, resulting in a total payout of $280.

Understanding these odds helps you evaluate the potential payout and implied probability of each fighter winning a UFC fight. Positive odds indicate an underdog, while negative odds signify a favorite.
